Post Production Research Questions (Ancillary Tasks Only)
I have created a set of questions that I will ask my target audience on the social networking website http://www.facebook.com/.
Poster
From looking at the film poster that I have designed and created to promote my horror film, ‘Ruby’, would this be a film you would wish to view in the cinema/ DVD?
What is the most effective part of the poster, the one thing that stands out the most?
Are you able to straight away point out the genre of film that this poster is promoting?
Does this poster meet all the needs and expectations that you desire to see when looking at a film poster?
In what areas do you believe that I could have improved?
Do you find the poster scary and eerie?
Magazine
After first glance, what did you think about this magazine front cover?
Do you feel that my magazine and film poster have symbiotic links, enabling you to recognise that both media texts are promoting the same film?
How well do you think the original layout works?
Did the fact that this is a special edition cover, draw you in more than it would of if it was accompanied by other sell lines? Why?
What are your overall opinions after looking at this magazine front cover?
Are there any area’s that you feel have room for improvement?
